Vail Housekeeping is looking for a Full-Time Housekeeping Inspector to help ensure our vacation rentals meet our unreasonably high standards before every guest arrival. This role is perfect for someone who notices the details others miss and takes pride in doing things the right way.
Schedule
- Primarily morning–afternoon
- Weekends and holidays required (peak turnover days)
Pay
- $22–$26 per hour, depending on experience
- Paid mileage
What You’ll Do
- Inspect vacation rental homes after cleaning for quality, completeness, and presentation
- Verify linens, restocking, and setup meet company standards
- Communicate clearly with housekeeping staff and management
- Correct minor issues on the spot when possible
- Report maintenance or cleanliness concerns accurately and promptly
- Use mobile apps to complete inspections and notes
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail (this is non-negotiable)
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Comfortable walking, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs
- Basic smartphone proficiency
- English required; conversational Spanish strongly preferred
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Housekeeping, hospitality, or vacation rental experience
- Basic handyman or maintenance skills
- Experience with inspections or quality control
