Duties
- Operate laundry machines and dry cleaning equipment to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry to ensure quick availability for various departments and guest needs
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including washing stations, storage rooms, and equipment to uphold safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with special cleaning requests such as stain removal or delicate fabric handling to meet specific guest or operational requirements
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed to ensure seamless operations
- Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling, machine operation, and sanitation procedures
- Support the overall cleanliness of the hotel by assisting with general cleaning tasks when necessary
Skills
- Proven experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping preferred
- Strong knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques
- Familiarity with dry cleaning procedures is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality results in linen presentation and cleanliness
