Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Technician with hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial garage door systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and confident working independently in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain garage doors, openers, springs, cables, and related components
- Diagnose issues and provide effective solutions on-site
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of garage door technician experience
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with torsion springs, openers, and full door installs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with major brands (LiftMaster, Genie, Clopay, etc.)
- Sales experience or ability to learn and take direction
- OSHA or safety certifications (a plus)
