Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe and functional environment for all occupants. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various maintenance disciplines, including electrical work, mechanical repairs, and facilities upkeep.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of properties to ensure optimal functionality.
- Perform light maintenance in assigned areas (i.e. change light bulbs, oil hinges, clear plugged drains and report major repair needs).
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Sign daily log sheets
- Communicate effectively in English with team members and management regarding maintenance issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Proficiency in painting techniques.
- Strong background in facilities maintenance with hands-on experience.
- Ability to maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
- Solid mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues accurately.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and understanding logic controllers is preferred.
