Job Summary
The Physician Relations Specialist is responsible for managing his/her assigned territory by building strong relationships, maintaining and enhancing relationships with physicians in the community as well as CHOC CS/Non-CS physicians and other referring groups. This will include consistent communication, ongoing education and outreach, along with identifying opportunities and challenges related to the management, satisfaction, alignment, volume growth and retention of physicians, while engaging in department events and activities designed to promote CHOCs programs, services and physicians. Performs targeted outreach as related to project deliverables and collaborates with internal departments to resolve issues.
Pay Range
Minimum $70,949 Midpoint $94,037 Maximum $117,062
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Medium - High energy level Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Push/pull /- 150-200 lbs. (Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer 150-200 lbs. (ie. Patient) .

Experience
- Required: Minimum two (2) years of general physician relations experience, or equivalent.
- Preferred: Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing or related field. Applicable experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Required: None required.
- Required: Ability to work independently yet ability to work cohesively in a team focused environment. Must strive to meet and exceed customer satisfaction. Excellent organizational skills which include the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and responding well to shifting deadlines. Strong time management skills. Results oriented. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Preferred: Knowledge of medical terminology. Proficient in Customer Relationship Management software, such as Salesforce. Bilingual preferred.
- Required: Drivers License - Class C.
