Job Summary
The Pharmacy Technician, reporting to the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor and under the supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist, assists in the non-discretionary tasks of preparing and dispensing medications, as well as other duties as assigned within their scope of practice.
Pay Range
Minimum $25.46 Midpoint $33.73 Maximum $42.01
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Qualifications
Required:
- Six weeks of Pharmacy externship training OR two years inpatient/acute care Pharmacy experience
- Graduated from an ASHP accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program and a minimum of 240 hours of externship, OR two years of inpatient hospital experience with a state license
- Pharmacy Tech Licensure
- Two years inpatient pediatric Pharmacy experience
- Associate Degree in Pharmacy Technology Training
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification
- Proficient in English, verbal and written communications skills, and pharmaceutical calculations. Must be able to type and accurately perform computer entry
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding (sterile and non-sterile) , familiarity with Automated Dispensing Cabinet use and other IV workflow automation; and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Pharmacy Tech Board Cert CPhT
- High School Diploma or GED
