As a Senior Preconstruction Manager at Choate Construction, you provide strategic leadership and guidance during the preconstruction phase to ensure projects are positioned for success long before work begins in the field. This role is intended for highly experienced professionals with 15 years of overall construction experience, including at least 10 years in a preconstruction leadership or estimating capacity, who are capable of managing very large, complex, specialized, and/or multiple concurrent projects. You lead, mentor, and direct the preconstruction team across contracting, scheduling, estimating, and bidding activities, while coordinating closely with the Operations Manager and Division Manager on team assignments and project strategy. Beyond technical expertise, you bring strong leadership, delegation, and decision‑making skills—empowering teams, aligning stakeholders, and balancing risk, cost, and constructability to deliver accurate, competitive, and executable project outcomes that support Choate Construction’s long‑term success.
