Requirements:
- Strong work ethic, coachability, and positive team-first attitude
- Ability to lift 75 lbs, work on ladders/in tight spaces, and handle full-day field work
- Clean, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic tool knowledge
- Prior trade, construction, or mechanical experience a plus (not required)
Position Summary:
At Chivalry Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, the Plumbing Apprentice supports service and install work while learning the trade hands-on. In this role, you’ll assist with repairs, rough-ins, water heaters, fixtures, and diagnostics alongside experienced technicians. You’ll help keep jobs moving efficiently while delivering 5-star service every day.

Core Responsibilities:
- Assist with service calls, rough-ins, repairs, water heaters/boilers, fixtures, drain work, and more
- Pull materials, load trucks, maintain jobsite safety and cleanliness
- Cut, prep, and assemble pipe (copper, PEX, PVC, black steel) to spec
- Perform basic diagnostics, pressure tests, and leak checks under supervision
- Use ServiceTitan for notes, photos, and job closeout
- Communicate professionally with customers and teammates
What You’ll Learn:
- Residential plumbing systems end-to-end
- Code, fittings, fixture set-outs, and industry best practices
- Customer communication and efficiency systems (checklists, KPIs)
