Inside Sales Representative

Chisholm Broadband is a local internet provider, and our Inside Sales team is where new customers start. As our Inside Sales Representative, you'll be the first voice people hear when they're ready for better internet. You'll answer their questions, find the right plan, and get them signed up and scheduled. What You'll Do

• Respond to sales inquiries by phone, email, live chat, and in person, asking the right questions to understand what each customer needs
• Explain internet plans, pricing, service availability, and installation requirements clearly and accurately
• Follow up quickly with new inquiries and existing leads, answer questions, and help interested customers sign up
• Process orders accurately and keep customer records, lead status, contact notes, and follow-up tasks up to date
• Coordinate and schedule installations with our field and operations teams
• Follow up after the sale and route technical, billing, or account concerns to the right department
• Work with the sales team to spot opportunities, generate leads, and set appointments

What You Bring

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities, follow through, and keep accurate records
• Comfort with computers, email, phones, and customer management systems
• Willingness to start sales conversations and work toward established goals
• Experience in customer service, sales, or administrative work preferred
• Telecommunications experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person

How We Measure Success

You'll succeed here by following up on leads quickly, closing sales and completing activations, entering orders and scheduling accurately, and keeping customers happy. Management sets specific goals with you from day one.

Compensation

• $17.00 per hour base pay (about $35,000 per year)
• Uncapped commission on top of base — a rep meeting targets earns around $50,000 per year
• Strong performers who go beyond targets earn more; commission is uncapped
• Full compensation plan details are shared during the hiring process

Work Environment

This is an office-based position. You'll work alongside the sales team and close to the people who make installs and support happen.
