Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager.
Duties
- complete repairs related to pluming, electrical and general mechanics around the building.
- Establish a property damage and/or repair request "system" to identify and prioritize repairs.
- respond on an on-call basis for assessment of building/property-related emergencies.
- problem-solve unique repairs and building system problems.
- Oversees major repairs from contracted vendors.
- Coordinate with contractors for timely repairs.
- Establish maintenance schedules for painting, carpet cleaning, floor maintenance and furnishing.
- Maintain tools and power equipment such as fork lift, pallet jacks, lawn mowers.
- Arrange elevator inspections and repairs.
- Arrange fire extinguisher inspections.
- Make recommendations for upgrades to the building and property.
- Advise the Finance and Operations Director of potential expenses related to building and property.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Order supplies and equipment.
- Participates in building safety committee meetings.
Requirements
- 2 years experience in property management or a related field is essential.
- Valid Drivers Licenses.
- High School diploma or GED .
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required for effective interaction with staff, and vendors.
