Duties
- Greet patients warmly, check them in efficiently, and manage appointment scheduling to optimize daily flow
- Collect patient information accurately, including medical history and insurance details, ensuring thorough intake processes
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information and scheduling appointments with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Assist chiropractors with patient assessments, preparing treatment rooms, and explaining procedures clearly to patients
- Maintain accurate records of patient visits, treatment notes, and billing documentation in compliance with privacy regulations
- Support clinical staff by understanding basic physiology and anatomy to facilitate effective patient care and communication
- Manage front desk operations smoothly by handling payments, insurance verifications, and general administrative tasks
Requirements
- Prior experience in patient service or healthcare settings is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support clinical functions effectively
- Excellent communication skills to assess patient needs and explain procedures clearly
- Ability to handle intake procedures accurately while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
