Role Summary
As an Account Executive, you will drive revenue growth, manage client relationships, and expand our impact through strategic outreach and partnerships.
Sales target: You are expected to close five sales each week across our programs. A closed sale is defined as a signed agreement with a deposit received or a paid invoice.
Key Responsibilities For CJE Career and Business Consulting
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract job seekers and career changers to career readiness services
- Build relationships with corporations, universities, and workforce development agencies for bulk resume and career consulting engagements
- Identify partnership opportunities with organizations addressing employment challenges
- Guide clients to the right service mix based on goals and budget
- Track leads, pipeline health, and conversion rates in the CRM and report progress weekly
For Captivating Events By Chi
- Manage the sales pipeline for wedding and event planning services across Silver, Gold, and Platinum packages
- Cultivate relationships with vendors, venues, and corporate buyers to create referral and partnership channels
- Conduct client consultations, scope needs, and present tailored planning solutions
- Represent the brand at networking events, expos, and trade shows to drive awareness and lead generation
- Maintain client satisfaction through consistent communication and clear next steps
Sales Targets and KPIs
- Consistently close five new sales per week across lines of business
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of at least three times your monthly revenue goal
- Hold a set number of qualified discovery calls and proposal meetings each week
- Keep CRM data current with notes, next actions, and forecast dates
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience: Two or more years in sales, account management, or business development. Experience in career consulting, event services, or related industries is preferred
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and relationship building
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Zoho, and with Microsoft Office
- Strong organization, time management, and follow through
- Goal orientation with the ability to meet weekly close targets
- Other:
- Familiarity with Michigan, Maryland, Virginia, and the surrounding areas is a plus
