Position Overview
Chipton‑Ross is seeking a highly skilled Senior Master Planner / Scheduler to support complex, mission‑critical programs in Greenville, SC. This role is ideal for a planning professional who thrives in highly integrated environments and has deep experience developing and controlling cradle‑to‑grave program schedules.
You will play a key role in shaping program execution by developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), analyzing critical path impacts, supporting Earned Value Management (EVM), and advising program leadership on cost, schedule, and delivery risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and control Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across the full program lifecycle, from SOW development through program completion
- Support proposal schedule development, including review of Statements of Work (SOW) and Basis of Estimate (BOE) inputs
- Apply Critical Path Methodology (CPM) to develop schedule networks, perform analysis, and identify schedule drivers and risks
- Advise Program Management leadership of potential contractual, cost, or delivery impacts related to schedule performance
- Perform schedule risk and opportunity analysis and provide actionable mitigation recommendations
- Support internal and external audits related to scheduling and program controls
- Integrate planning activities across engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production organizations
- Prepare and present schedule status reports, metrics, and briefings for internal and customer stakeholders
- Maintain accurate schedule control processes and ensure alignment with program management and EVM requirements
- Operate independently while collaborating closely with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (required to start)
- Proven experience using Critical Path Methodology (CPM)
- Advanced experience with Deltek Open Plan (primary scheduling tool)
- Working experience with Microsoft Project and Milestones Professional
- Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and application
- Extensive experience creating and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules, including proposal schedules
- Demonstrated cradle‑to‑grave scheduling experience (new schedule development from SOW through completion)
- Experience supporting schedule control processes, program audits, and project management integration
- Ability to provide schedule‑driven risk and opportunity analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working independently across technical and engineering teams
- Ability to quickly develop a working understanding of complex technical products
- Background supporting Capture, R&D, and Production scheduling activities
- Advanced EVM experience in a regulated or government program environment
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Institution must be accredited
