Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments by verifying quantities and inspecting for damage
- Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately picking, packing, and labeling products according to order specifications
- Manage inventory movements within the warehouse management system (WMS) and update stock levels in real-time
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit while maintaining compliance with shipping standards
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse management system (WMS)
- Support order fulfillment processes by efficiently picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment using RF scanners and order pickers
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely; forklift certification is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and MRP software for inventory control
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including stocking, order picking, packing, and load & unload procedures
- Basic math skills for counting items, calculating weights or measurements, and verifying shipment details
- Experience with e-commerce fulfillment processes and order picker equipment to meet fast-paced delivery timelines
- Knowledge of packaging standards to ensure product safety during transit and delivery
