Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Applicator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying various treatments for pest control, lawn care, and landscaping projects. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge and hands-on experience. The Applicator will work closely with customers to ensure their needs are met while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Willing to train the right individual
Responsibilities include, but not limited to
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers according to established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Conduct assessments of client properties to determine treatment needs and develop appropriate application plans.
- Ability to answer customer questions regarding their lawn care process
- Operate and maintain machinery, power tools, and hand tools effectively and safely.
- Drive to various job sites, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, including materials used and quantities applied.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor(s) in a respectful manner
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation
- Able to get to work on time, everyday
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Ability to walk, bend and stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day, in various weather conditions
- Clean driving record
- Excellent driving skills with a valid driver's license for transportation to job sites.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Must be a team player
Preferred
- Strong knowledge of pest control methods and lawn care practices
- Pesticide Applicator's License (or must obtain within 30 days of employment)
- Lawn Care experience is a plus
- Leadership skills are a plus
Schedule
- Flexibility is a must; hours vary throughout the year
- Season for fertilization typically runs the end of March-November (weather dependent on season start and end dates)
- Hours worked per day vary; most days are a minimum of 8 hours during peak season
- Hours vary based on workload and weather conditions
- Snow removal is required during Winter months
Pay rate base on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
