Job purpose
Under the direction of the Director of Youth and Family Services, the Program Manager will manage the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) contracts, the clinical integrity of the programs, and the daily operations of the Youth and Family team.
Duties and responsibilities
- Supports staff and interns in establishing work plans and responsibilities, and provide consultation on client-related concerns
- Provides supervision weekly to non-clinical and interns
- Ensure documentation is accurate and submitted within the established time frame
- Attend and coordinate services with Department of Children and Family services and other members of the Multi-disciplinary team
- Display sensitivity to the cultural and linguistic needs of the clients and families served
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including school and community personnel, as needed
- Complete and submit written reports that include reviews of supervisees’ chart documentation and client records
- Adheres to contract and program billing requirements
- Fulfills all program and contract deliverables and expectations
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings to provide input towards program development and staff training
- Review and maintain audit ready standards and peer audit
Qualifications
- Current Unencumbered California LMFT/LCSW/Licensed Psychologist. Must maintain licensure as a condition of employment.
- Knowledge of principles and techniques of social, cultural, and intergenerational dynamics of Asian immigrants and refugees.
- Bilingual/bicultural English and Chinese strongly preferred (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must possess a valid California driver’s license and maintain an insurable driving record.
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to pass health, fingerprint, and DMV clearance.
