What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waitress/waiter position at China by the sea?
We are looking for an experienced Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include taking orders, delivering food and drinks, providing accurate information about menu items, and ensuring that customers have a pleasant dining experience. The successful candidate will be able to multitask and remain organized while working in a busy restaurant setting.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and present menus.
- Take orders and serve food and beverages.
- Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations.
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
- Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware.
We are looking to hire year round. Availability starting in August.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.10 per hour
