What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beverage Cart Attendant position at Chimera Golf Club?
The beverage cart attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to our golf guests on the course. The attendant will provide food and beverage items throughout the course and will do so in a friendly, timely and organized manner.
The beverage cart attendant is responsible for following service standards, departmental policies, and accounting procedures. Any conflicts are to be reported to the Director of Food and Beverage.
Essential and Duties Responsibilities:
- Review golf tee sheet daily to familiarize yourself with the day's business
- Responsible for making sure your beverage cart is visually appealing and presenting the menu offerings available on-course
- Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the work areas, beverage cart, and storage areas
- Responsible for maintaining all par levels of stock on the beverage cart
- Responsible for the proper usage and good working order of all equipment and to report any defects to the Director of Food and Beverage
- Should be able to work under pressure and be able to multitask
- Ensure that correct method of payment is collected from all guests
- Requisition inventory in/out to staff at beginning and ending of shifts.
- Perform and complete additional responsibilities or duties as assigned by the Director of Food and Beverage
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old to work as a beverage cart attendant
- Experience in operating Point of Sale software
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- 2 years’ experience in beverage cart position at a golf course.
- Computer literate with knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software, such as EZ Links, Microsoft -Word and Excel Programs
- Valid drivers license, health card, and TAM card
