Cart Attendant

Position Summary

The Cart Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by preparing, cleaning, organizing, and staging golf carts for daily operations at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort. This position plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience by assisting customers at the bag drop area, supporting golf operations, and maintaining clean and organized cart staging and storage areas.

The Cart Attendant helps ensure guests experience a smooth arrival and departure process through professional customer service, attention to detail, and operational support. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner upon arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with unloading and loading golf bags and personal equipment at the bag drop area.
• Prepare, clean, wash, and stage golf carts for daily play.
• Ensure golf carts are fully stocked with required supplies and operationally ready for guest use.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cart staging, storage, bag drop, and surrounding operational areas.
• Monitor cart conditions and report maintenance or safety concerns to leadership promptly.
• Retrieve golf carts from the course and return them to designated staging areas.
• Assist with maintaining practice facility supplies and operational support as needed.
• Support tournament, outing, and special event operations when assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service while answering guest questions and assisting with directions or operational needs.
• Follow safety procedures while operating golf carts and utility equipment.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with Golf Shop, Outside Services, and Golf Operations staff.
• Assist with opening and closing operational procedures as assigned.
• Perform additional duties and operational support tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous golf course, hospitality, customer service, or outdoor operations experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to always remain professional and guest-focused.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, mornings, and evening

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat, sun, and wind exposure.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move continuously throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to safely operate golf carts and small utility equipment.
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver golf carts and golf bags safely.

Work Environment:

This position primarily works outdoors at the golf resort driving range and practice facilities. Team Members are expected to maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive guest experience while supporting the overall operations of Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.
