Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen in a fast-paced quick service restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, exceptional team management abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As the Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency while managing inventory and staff.

Duties

  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure effective team management to promote a positive work environment.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high culinary standards.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Implement and maintain food safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, equipment usage, and customer service practices.
  • Utilize POS systems for tracking orders and managing kitchen workflow efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a kitchen management role within the food service industry, preferably in a quick service fast food restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food management practices, and inventory control systems.
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for guests.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and their application in managing kitchen operations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
