Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to recipes and safety standards.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, following food safety protocols and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events such as banquets or private parties, ensuring smooth operations during service.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality service.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cashiering.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest satisfaction.
- Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
- Strong math skills for retail math, cash handling, and basic calculations related to sales transactions.
- Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including food industry regulations, beverage preparation techniques (including brewing), and serving etiquette.
