- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and transactions.
- Ensure responsible serving practices by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to alcohol service regulations.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by creating a lively atmosphere while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies, restocking bar items, and reporting shortages promptly.
- Uphold all food safety standards and promote a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a bartender is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Shift 4 is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in food handling, food safety protocols, and responsible alcohol service.
- Experience in retail math, cash handling, cashiering, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of the food industry trends including brewing techniques or beverage crafting is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
