Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

ChildWay Pediatric Services is home to medically fragile children who need constant care. ChildWay serves as a non-profit organization within the Lansdale and East Norriton community that has retrofitted residential homes to accommodate the needs of the medically fragile population we serve. Our medical facilities serve to provide a welcoming environment for the children to live in.

ChildWay is currently seeking Nurse Techs to join our dedicated team. Our ideal candidate is hard-working, passionate about the care they give, and willing to be a team player. We are currently hiring for Part-time, and Full-time positions.

What you’ll do:

At ChildWay, you will have a rewarding and fulfilling career as a nurse tech. You will be a vital part of the healthcare team, providing care to children who are both technologically and medically dependent. As a nurse tech at ChildWay, your responsibilities are, but not limited to:

· Support the mission, vision, and values of ChildWay.

· Provide quality care to individuals that promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.

· Feedings, changings, dressing, bathing, and any other patient needs.

· Assist the professionals on duty.

· Promotes positive public relations with consumers, family members and guests.

· Maintaining good communication with co-workers, nursing staff, Physician, and management to maintain a positive working environment.

· Maintaining on-going records of materials and supplies ordered and used for individuals/house.

· Supervised by professionals and works in collaboration with the nurses and other professionals. Seeks out guidance from professionals for any questions or concerns.

Job Requirements:

· Clean Criminal, FBI, and Child Abuse background checks.

· BLS Certification (Preferred, but not required)

· First Aid Certification (Preferred, but not required)

· High School Diploma or CNA certification (CNA certification not required, training is provided)

· Willingness to work with children.

· Willingness to work at all locations.

· Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.

· Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Drivers License and Car is needed
