Job Summary
Attentive Care Service Agency is looking for passionate Caregivers/Personal Care Assistants to join our team. A Personal Care Assistant provides essential support to clients in their homes by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). The PCA helps clients maintain independence, comfort, and safety while following care plans and agency guidelines. This role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to support individuals with personal care and daily living needs in a respectful and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Must meet Department of Health qualifications and successfully complete the Agency’s training program.
- Must demonstrate a compassionate and supportive attitude toward individuals with disabilities and special needs.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrates maturity, reliability, and the ability to manage the physical and emotional demands of the position.
Responsibilities
- Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Provide personal care services to clients as assigned in accordance with the care plan.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and toileting.
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients in their home environment.
- Maintain professional conduct and respectful interactions with clients and family members.
- Perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and assisting clients with mobility when necessary.
- Safely lift or assist with lifting up to 50 pounds when required.
- Perform duties that may require extended periods of standing and physical activity.
