- Role is based out of our Johnston location
- Hybrid schedule offered, 2 days onsite, 3 days work from home
- $19-$20/hour
- This role is full-time and eligible for health benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement with a company match .
- Verify active insurance coverage for every patient in outpatient services before scheduling can occur , and follow up with families when active coverage isn’t available.
- Fill out necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner in order to maintain scheduling service level.
- Obtain and send all necessary clinical documentation to insurance companies in order to receive a prior authorization/pre-certification of services as neede d.
- Track and monitor patients that will require re -authorization for additional therapy treatment sessions.
- Assist with annual insurance update process.
- High School Degree or GED equivalent
- Experience working with medical billing or collections , preferred .
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary medical facility, preferred.
- Ability to work accurately, and efficiently with frequent interruptions, while meeting time-bound requests.
- Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
