Job Title: Assistant Teacher for Pre-k
Location: Canton, MI

We are currently seeking a full time Assistant Teacher for our pre-k room to support our lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and fun learning space for children. Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment
- Support lead teachers in implementing the curriculum and daily activities
- Help manage classroom routines, including meals, naps, and playtime
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all children
- Provide individualized attention to support each child's development
- Assist with classroom organization and preparation of learning materials
- Follow all State of Michigan daycare regulations and policies
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience working with children in a daycare setting is a must
- Passion for early childhood education and a caring, patient attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Flexibility in hours to accommodate center needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDA is a plus
