Job Summary:
Childrens World Early Learning is looking for a qualified assistant director. Ideal candidate will be hands on and will help the director with the operations of the center when needed and in a classroom as a teacher part of the day. Great environment and family owned
Must have Childcare experience in a similar role or as a Lead and must have a flexible schedule during business hours.
Duties:
· Build, lead and inspire your team to achieve the best results
Help Director open or close
Teach in a classroom as needed and help with curriculum
. Create a culture of support within the school (for staff, families and children)
· Cultivate an environment committed to health and safety
· Ensure compliance with the Minimum Licensing Requirements, conforming to health, safety, and licensing guidelines
· Keep accurate and concise records
· Maintain knowledge of state, local and company policies for enrollment, attendance, tuition payment, subsidy and third-party enrollment and contracts
· Conduct informative and professional tours
· Maintain complete and up-to-date attendance files for all children, completing yearly updates of all child files.
· Develop and implement strategies to address any gaps in marketing and enrollment
Skills:
· Experience in a similar role in a daycare/Childcare Center or a Lead with 3 years as a lead with some general experience about the position
· Strong communication and leadership skills
Good customer service skills
Experience with marketing and admin work in a childcare center is a plus
CDA or Higher a strong plus
