Overview
We are growing and we're seeking a dedicated Lead teacher to help with our Toddler Room in our new family owned early childhood center in the safe and nice city of Canton. We have a great friendly environment where everyone is like family. Teacher must have teaching experience as a lead . Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Follow all policies of the State of Michigan.
- Be familiar with emergency procedures.
- Provide various experiences and activities for all children as outlined in the curriculum.
- Build children’s self esteem.
- Implement positive redirection as needed.
- Establish a diverse and inclusive classroom environment that fosters equality for all individuals, irrespective of gender, race, or those who require additional support.
Qualifications
- Qualified to be a lead. (CDA or higher preferred)
Good with organizing the classroom and curriculum
Experience working with kids in a school or daycare is a must
Flexibility in hours during opening hours of the center
Good with customer service and communicating with families
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
