Our vision is built on four core values: Inclusivity: We celebrate the diversity within the Autism spectrum and are committed to creating an inclusive environment that respects and values each person’s individual strengths and differences.  Innovation: We foster a culture of creativity and collaboration, exploring new ideas to develop personalized solutions that enhance quality of life for all children with Autism.  Connection: We actively engage with the health systems and broader community to coordinate services and care for people with Autism.  Quality and Safety: We invest in research and training to provide cutting-edge, effective, safe, and personalized services tailored to the unique needs of those we serve.  Join Us as an Intake CoordinatorThe Intake coordinator works alongside clinical staff and families to coordinate scheduling for proper case treatment plansWhat You'll Do: Completing intake phone calls for new client referralsEducating families about the services we provideVerifying client insurance benefits to determine eligibilityCommunicating with families their insurance benefits and financial obligations Accurate data entry and communication recorded in EHR and other software Updating client availability for therapyInput, update, and exercise discretion to modify client schedules as needed Exercise discretion to schedule clients appropriately, maximizing their authorizationCommunicating all schedules changes with entire team including family, RBT, and BCBAUse judgement in addressing concerns with filling schedules and any other client concernInputting authorizations into EHRAuditing all parts of EHR for accuracy and completenessEvaluating staffing needs and communicating with teamAttending team meetings and communicating current needsIdentify scheduling and staffing adjustments necessary, and address accordingly based on client satisfaction feedback receivedUse judgement in coordinating schedules of other professionals (SLP, OT, psychologist, social worker, etc.)Other duties as assignedWhat You'll NeedHigh School diploma or equivalent1 to 3 years previous experience with intake and schedulingMust be Bilingual in English/SpanishStrong communication skillsDetail orientedExperience in ABA preferredExperience with Central Reach a plusWork Location & Hours: This is a full-time position that will be on-site in our Owings Mills, MD EI Center.
