Summary Of Position

Children’s Minnesota is seeking a licensed, master’s-level outpatient therapist to join our growing continuum of mental health services. This unique hybrid role offers the opportunity to provide both short-term bridge therapy and longer-term outpatient care for children and families navigating important transitions in treatment.

In this position, approximately half of billed clinical time will support our “bridging” clinic, where therapists provide brief, focused therapy for patients stepping down from partial hospitalization, inpatient care, or the emergency department while they wait to establish ongoing care with a community therapist. The remaining clinical time will focus on longer-term outpatient therapy, with referrals coming from our Integrated Behavioral Health team, as well as our partial hospitalization and inpatient programs.

This role is ideal for a collaborative clinician who enjoys working across care teams and supporting children during critical points in their mental health journey. The therapist will partner closely with Integrated Behavioral Health, inpatient, and partial hospitalization providers to ensure thoughtful, coordinated care. The position is primarily based in Minneapolis with a hybrid schedule. Work hours include one virtual evening and one virtual weekend day.
