Behavioral Health Clinician Pro Fee Services

This position is located at Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park.

Overview

As a member of the primary care team, the Behavioral Health Clinician assists in the team's management of the overall health care needs of the enrolled patient population. The Behavioral Health Clinician's primary functions include assessment, consultation and direct care related to the prevention, identification, treatment, and ongoing management of psychosocial/behavioral concerns which impact the overall health of the defined patient population.

We are currently hiring for the Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) position, a key role within a multi-disciplinary team in the Integrated Behavioral Health model.  We are looking for behavioral providers with strong diagnostic and clinical skills, team engagement, and patient care skills who enjoy innovation, variability in your workday, and being a part of an exceptional team. 

This Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) position is fully integrated within our Collaborative Care Psychiatry Service. CCPS is a team-based approach to psychiatric services where the BHC works in collaboration with the psychiatric provider to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

The primary functions of the BHC are to:  

• Complete diagnostic assessments 

• Provide consultation to the team regarding diagnostic impressions, recommendations, and strategies to engage patients in health and behavior change 

• Support the team with the day-to-day management of complex patients 

• Provide brief evidence-based direct care to patients 

• Engage in population health activities to support risk stratified populations 

Organization Expectations, as applicable:

• Required to complete system credentialing to perform pro fee billing
• Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served
  • Partners with patient care giver in care/decision making.
  • Communicates in a respective manner.
  • Ensures a safe, secure environment.
  • Individualizes plan of care to meet patient needs.
  • Modifies clinical interventions based on population served.
  • Provides patient education based on as assessment of learning needs of patient/care giver.
• · Fulfills all organizational requirements
  • Completes all required learning relevant to the role
  • Complies with and maintains knowledge of all relevant laws, regulation, policies, procedures, and standards.
• · Fosters a culture of improvement, efficiency, and innovative thinking.
• · Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral level degree in counseling, social work or psychology
• 2 years experience post licensure
• One of the following licenses 
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or
  • Licensed Psychologist (LP)
  • Licensed Graduate in Social Work will be considered under certain circumstances

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years experience post licensure

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer, is what will be honored.
