Summary:
The Strategy and Business Development Specialist support critical strategy and business development initiatives. The Specialist will structure work plans, analyses, and deliverables in collaboration with leadership, synthesizing and communicating initial findings to help the team develop solutions to complex challenges. The Specialist may facilitate leadership meetings or workgroups focused on specific strategy or partnership initiatives. The Specialist will also identify information data sources, build complex forecasting models, and/or interpret data as required on a project-by-project basis. The Specialist will be a primary point of contact for our market data, organizing and structuring data reports to enhance the efficiency of our function. Successful individuals in this role will be proactive self-starters and innovative thinker's adept at integrating large amounts of research and market data from multiple sources and effectively communicating analysis results and corresponding implications.
- Apply rigorous analytical skills and outstanding oral/written skills to interpret and clearly and concisely communicate the sources, implications and impacts of complex analytic findings
- Oversee market-based data systems and acts as primary contact for market data systems
- Support organizational strategic planning and business development initiatives through the structuring of analyses, deliverables, and research
- Lead business and market analyses and assist the function in utilizing information to inform strategic and operational planning
- Provide decision support services by using internal and external data sources to provide insightful and actionable recommendations
- Develop new and creative methods and analyses to help solve complex problems and improve the analytical efficiency of the Strategy and Business Development function
- Participate in special projects for leadership and others as needed
- Has 1 -2 years data manipulation and is proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, PPT, Excel, etc)
- Collaborate with executive leadership, service line administrators, operations, and clinical staff
- Monitor health industry trends and publish whitepapers as appropriate
- Work independently to meet aggressive time frames and manage multiple analyses/projects simultaneously
- At least 2 years Prior work experience in a professional or office environment requiring data analytics and interpretation Required
- Experience working in a health care provider or health plan setting. Preferred
EDUCATION
- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required
- Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Preferred
