Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, classroom management, and curriculum development, with a dedicated focus on nurturing infants’ growth and learning. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to infants’ developmental needs, including literacy education, motor skills, and social-emotional growth
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that foster curiosity and early learning in infants
- Provide attentive infant care, ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional support for each child
- Manage classroom activities efficiently, maintaining a structured yet flexible environment conducive to individual child needs
- Utilize knowledge of childhood development theories, including Montessori methods and early intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate records of developmental milestones and progress assessments using standardized testing where appropriate
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and standards related to child welfare and safety
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with infants or toddlers in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is required
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management for early childhood education
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, staff, and children
- Knowledge of child welfare policies and best practices in childcare environments
