The Clinical Research Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology, ensures that the health and safety of research participants and the integrity and quality of clinical trials, are maintained and conducted in accordance with federal, state, IRB, departmental, and institutional regulations, policies and procedures.
The Clinical Research RN will primarily provide nursing expertise and care to research study patient management with primary focus on bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapy clinical trial protocols.
- $53 - $82 per hour
- Full-Time Day Shift
As a Clinical Research RN Oncology you will:
- Ensure compliance to study protocols, may participate in feasibility evaluation, recruitment, consenting and enrollment activities, perform medical tests and procedures to facilitate study patient visits, provide investigational medication education and training, administer treatments, support side effect and adverse event monitoring, coordinate data collection, documentation and reporting, as applicable.
- Will support and provide direction in internal and external monitoring and auditing activities.
- Liaison and work closely with investigators, department members, study sponsors, IRB and the institution, to support administration of compliance, financial, personnel and other related aspects of all ongoing clinical studies.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required OR
- Associate's degree in nursing plus 2 years' additional related experience required
Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse License - CA-BRN - California Board of Registered Nursing (required)
- CCRP - Certified Clinical Research Professional - SOCRA - Society of Clinical Research Associates (preferred)
Work Experience
- Minimum two (2) years Experience in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant/Hematology-Oncology Nursing (required)
- Minimum one (1) year Research experience (preferred)
