Summary

Job Overview

The Guest Relations Associate provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors by managing check-in and health screening processes at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) facilities. This role ensures all visitors are pre-approved, properly badged, and directed to the correct location. Responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying visitor status in the Visitor Management System, checking authorization in Epic, de-escalating challenging interactions, and supporting the smooth, professional operation of the Visitor Management Program with minimal supervision.

Shift

North Campus

Thursdays and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conducts mandatory health screenings for all visitors and records results in the Visitor Management System before allowing entry.
• Verifies visitor status and issues badges using the Visitor Management System.
• Serves as a welcoming representative of CHCO, delivering high-quality customer service to patients, families, visitors, and team members with professionalism and courtesy.
• Enforces hospital visitor policies; confirms authorized visitors in Epic and initiates the patient registration process when applicable.
• De-escalates challenging situations involving patients, families, or visitors and maintains a safe environment by following infection control protocols and keeping assigned areas clean.

Salary Information

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Range: $18.26 to $27.40
