Position Summary
Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join out on-campus clinic that can provide clinical expertise to ensure all children and staff receive high quality, efficient care. Our clinic is made up of an amazing team that works hard to support each other and the agency. The LPN in this role will administer health services appropriate to the individual needs of children in care and coordinate effectively with the families. It is imperative that the individual in this role complies with internal and external agency regulations regarding required health care of residents, employees, and volunteers.
Responsibilities

Ensure that Agency standards of practice, as well as, State, Federal and Accreditation standards are fully met.

Complete required reports and documentation on time meeting all standards of content and professional presentation.

Provide preventative health care for disease and injury to the children in the agency programs by facilitating necessary nursing, medical, dental and related care to accomplish this purpose either by the performance of specific skilled nursing procedures, including nursing assessment, or scheduling the necessary care with the appropriate health care practitioner.
- Dispense medication without error to children as ordered.
Requirements
Education

Licensed in New York State and graduate of an accredited Licensed Professional Nursing Program required.

Pediatric/psychiatric experience preferred.
- A valid driver's license and minimum insurability requirements during employment required.
