Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote childhood development and early learning skills.
- Support children during activities such as playtime, snack time, nap time, and educational exercises, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and gentle guidance, encouraging respectful interactions among children.
- Supervise children closely to ensure safety, especially during outdoor play and transitions between activities.
- Support with diapering, infant care, toddler care, and basic first aid when necessary to ensure health standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive environment that accommodates children with disabilities or special needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of the classroom, toys, and equipment to promote a healthy learning environment.
Skills
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar caregiving roles.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively through positive discipline techniques.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members effectively.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine passion for nurturing young learners’ growth and development.
