Children's Dental Center is seeking individuals with at least 1 year of dental assisting experience with expanded functions to help our growing pediatric practice. Coronal Polishing and Caries Prevention is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Assisting the dentist using 4-handed dentistry
- Taking & developing dental radiographs.
- Assisting in a hospital setting with patients under General Anesthesia
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; and answering patients' questions.
- Place amalgam and composite restorations.
- Ensures accurate patient records (treatment planning, medical history)
- Takes dental impressions & pour models.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; and reporting needed changes.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Prepares treatment rooms including decontamination, sterilization, cleaning handpieces and room, and restocking supplies.
Qualifications
- Dental: 1 year (REQUIRED)
- Radiology License (REQUIRED)
- Expanded Functions (REQUIRED)
- Coronal Polishing (Preferred)
- Nitrous Certification (Preferred)
Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
