Children's Corner Learning Center in Yorktown, NY is immediately seeking to hire several Year-Round, Full-Time Teacher's Assistant positions to help enrich the learning experience of our children. Our program is year-round and serves children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old.
Positions Needed:
- Full-Time Teacher's Assistants: 7:30am-4:30pm; 8:00am-5:00pm; and 9:00am-6:00pm

As a Group Teacher, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Creating a warm, welcoming, nurturing, and safe environment for all children.
- Keeping a clean and safe environment and following all COVID-19 guidelines.
- Planning, scheduling, and implementing lesson plans appropriate for the age group.
- Providing supervision and assistance at all times.
- Assisting in feeding, diapering/toileting, and all necessary aspects of caring for children.
- Managing daily attendance records as well as daily sheets to be sent home with children.
- Communicating appropriately with parents/guardians, and co-workers.
- Flexible and willing to assist according to the overall needs of the center.
Assistant Teachers Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-year hands-on experience working with children 0-5 years old.
The hourly pay rate offered is dependent on the position, and qualifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
