Full Time Lifeguard (YEAR ROUND)

Duties

• Vigilantly supervise pool areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies
• Enforce safety rules and regulations to maintain a secure environment for all swimmers and visitors
• Conduct routine pool maintenance, including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and ensuring water quality standards are met
• Assist guests with pool-related inquiries, provide directions, and ensure a positive guest experience
• Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, demonstrating quick decision-making in critical situations
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool area by performing regular pool cleaning tasks and ensuring equipment is in good condition
• Support overall facility upkeep through light maintenance tasks such as pool cleaning and minor repairs

Qualifications

• Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in CPR and First Aid
• Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently
• Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to lift heavy objects as required for pool cleaning and equipment handling
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts in a lively environment
• Prior experience in pool cleaning or maintenance is a plus

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
