What You’ll Do
- Monitor and coordinate health services including screenings, immunizations, and medical and dental follow‑ups.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in ChildPlus in alignment with Head Start Performance Standards.
- Provide referrals and guidance to families for medical, dental, and inclusion services.
- Deliver health education and training for staff, families, and community stakeholders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic child development and program compliance.
- Certification or education in a health‑related field (e.g., Medical Assistant, LVN, or Health Services) with relevant experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
- Experience working with young children and families, preferably in early childhood or community settings.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- A mission‑aligned, team‑oriented approach with the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and care.
