What You’ll Do
- Manage a caseload, determine eligibility, and process applications, renewals, transfers, and updates in compliance with policy standards.
- Communicate with families to gather information, explain eligibility decisions, and provide clear guidance on services and responsibilities.
- Handle escalated cases, resolve complex issues, and serve as a first point of contact for customer concerns.
- Support and mentor Eligibility Specialists by answering questions and providing guidance on policies and processes.
- Maintain accurate records and meet productivity and timeliness standards in a high‑volume environment.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, with experience in child care or human services a plus.
- Proven experience as an Eligibility Specialist with strong performance in quality, accuracy, and productivity.
- Strong understanding of policy interpretation, customer service, and compliance‑driven processes.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
