We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Assistant Lead to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Lead daily classroom operations, ensuring activities align with developmental milestones and curriculum standards
- Supervise and mentor childcare aids, providing guidance on child supervision, behavior management, and educational strategies
- Implement age-appropriate child development instruction tailored to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, schoolage and children with special needs
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and document incidents or developmental observations accurately
- Support classroom management by organizing activities that promote social-emotional growth, early literacy, and motor skills development
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar early childhood settings
- Demonstrated classroom experience managing groups of young children while maintaining safety and engagement
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching methods for infants through school age
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Familiarity with child supervision techniques, behavior management strategies, and classroom management tools
