Overview
Seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare center settings and a passion for fostering childhood development through engaging activities and positive behavior management.
Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for schoolage, preschool, infants and toddlers, including feeding, diaper changing, and maintaining hygiene.
- Support children's emotional and social development through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a childcare center.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience with infant care, toddler care, preschool and schoolage in a licenced childcre center
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's interactions.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and other caregivers.
- A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with children.
