What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leader Development Specialist position at CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP INC?
The Leadership Development Specialist provides administrative, coordination and program support for global leadership training initiatives. Working under the direction of the Director of Leadership and Ministry Development this role assists with planning, logistics, communication and follow up for major leadership training programs and related leadership development projects.
This role upholds all CEF Culture Points, demonstrating commitment to godly leadership, the spiritual welfare of workers, prayer as the foundation of ministry, evangelizing children, a clear and biblical presentation of the Gospel, and excellence for the glory of God.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of the National Directors Institute (NDI)
- Provide administrative and logistical support for Board and Committee Training, Local Directors Institute (LDI) and Ministry Partner Development (MPD) Training
- Help collect, organize, and track participant feedback, instructor input, and training evaluations
- Maintain accurate documentation of training outcomes, key metrics, and overall ministry impact
Qualifications:
- Completion of the Children’s Ministries Institute (CMI) preferred or willingness to complete and/or 2 to 3 years of CEF Ministry
- Agrees with and signs the CEF Statement of Faith and the Child Protection Policy
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to gather, organize, and analyze information to support program planning and evaluation
- Proficiency in office software and basic digital tools for administrative and training support
