Your Opportunity
As an Early Childhood Teacher serving children ages 6 weeks to 3 years, you'll create a warm, engaging classroom where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
You'll:
- Provide nurturing, developmentally appropriate care and education
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Build positive partnerships with families
- Create engaging learning experiences through play and exploration
- Maintain a low teacher-to-child ratio of just 4:1
- Work in classrooms with a maximum of 8 children
- Help deliver life-changing Early Head Start services to qualifying families

Qualifications
Required
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- Experience working with infants and toddlers
- Passion for supporting children and families
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred
- Infant/Toddler CDA Credential (or willingness to obtain within one year)
- Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards
- Knowledge of Virginia Child Care Licensing requirements
- Bilingual skills
- CPR, First Aid, and MAT certifications
