Child Australia is seeking a part time (0.75), People & Culture Advisor who is passionate about building strong relationships, supporting leaders, and contributing to a positive, values-driven workplace.
This is a hands-on advisory role where you’ll partner closely with leaders across the organisation, providing practical HR advice, supporting performance and development, and helping create a safe, respectful and engaged workforce to provide the highest quality of care to children.

Reporting To The People & Culture Manager, You Will
- Provide timely, practical HR and employee relations advice
- Support leaders with performance, conduct and workforce matters
- Deliver onboarding, inductions and HR training
- Assist with investigations and documentation
- Contribute to wellbeing, engagement and culture initiatives
- Support continuous improvement across people practices.
You are a positive, solutions-focused HR professional who:

- Has a passion for the early childhood sector.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR advisory role
- Experience in managing employee grievances and disciplinary procedures.
- Sound knowledge of Fair Work legislation, National Employment Standards
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with excellent written and verbal articulation.
- Experience in the early childhood sector OR education, disability, aged care/ healthcare services (desirable).
