Internship Program Overview
Our 10-week summer internship program givesstudentshands-on experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while learning about our organization.Internswill connect with leaders,participatein development sessions like self-assessments and business overviews, and take part in networking and community initiatives. The program concludes with a final presentation to leaders and peers, whereinternsshowcasetheirwork, share ideas, and receive valuable feedback.
Who we are looking for
Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Business Analyst Intern will support the global rare disease business unit's financial planning activities during the annual budget preparation. This role offers hands-on experience in budgeting, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The intern will collect information fromdifferent functions, organize data, and prepare presentations to support key financial processes.
- Assistingthe organization in the roll out of the annual budget process for the global rare disease business unit, including coordination of input and consolidation of financial information.
- Partnering with FP&A business partners across countries/regions and functions to gather data and align on key planning assumptions.
- Generating comprehensive presentations of financial analysis, tailored to the different audiences.
- Assistingin development of ad hoc financial analysis, business cases to support strategic decisions.
- Currently pursuingundergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field with an expected graduation date of Fall 2026 or later.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
This is a hybrid rolebased inBoston, MA. Interns are expected to work on-site up to 3 days per week.
The hourly basepayfor this position ranges from $22 to $30. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtimepaywhen working qualifying overtime hours.Basepayoffered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including education level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify basepay(as well as any other discretionarypayment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
