Chief Buildings is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join the Chief team. In this role, you will perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure and industrial equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. To be successful in this position, you should have strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, a proactive approach to maintenance, and a commitment to safety and reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including equipment installation, modifications, and electrical wiring.
- Interpret equipment manuals and technical drawings to guide repairs and adjustments.
- Manage parts inventory and maintenance records using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Operate mobile and aerial equipment safely while demonstrating strong time management, communication, and independent work skills.
