What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Service Tech position at Chief of Staff?
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial customers.
- Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC systems.
- Travel to job sites within the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedules are maintained and any delays are properly communicated to customers.
- Be available to work nights or weekends on a rotating basis to service emergency needs of customers.
- Assist with loading trucks, deliveries, unloading, and setup of equipment at customer facilities.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to travel outside the local area occasionally
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- EPA 608 refrigerant certification
- HVAC trade school diploma or equivalent experience
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
